PRESS RELEASE: TIRE POWER SOFTWARE EXTENDS MASSIVE SOFTWARE GIVEAWAY DEADLINE

Tire Company Solutions (TCS), software provider for the tire, wheel and automotive industries, announced today they will extend their Software Giveaway Program deadline from May 15th to July 15th due to the massive response from the industry.

To date, TCS is considering over 100 applications submitted from tire dealers requesting to receive the free Tire Power Software package and have given away half of the 25 free software packages allotted to the program.  Because TCS is still receiving multiple applications daily from tire dealers desiring to upgrade their current technology to include TCS’s Tire Power software, the deadline to submit an application has been extended to July 15th.

“As we consider each application and award dealers with our free software, we are both humbled and honored we are able to contribute to the industry during these changing economic times.” stated Shawn Puckett, Director of Business Development for TCS.  “In addition to extending our deadline for submitting applications for the program, we are not limiting the program to 25 packages.  The need and desire for financial and technical assistance from dealers has been much larger than we anticipated and we are committed to doing what it takes to partner with dealers who are determined to flourish through these economic challenges.”

Among the first recipients of the free software is BZ’s Tire Shop of Seguin, TX.  As many dealers around the country, BZ’s Tire Shop has felt the impact of our changing economy and had no budget allotted to make desperately needed improvements to their IT infrastructure.  In addition, ­­­­­­­­­­­BZ’s is located in Guadalupe County which is currently considered a local state of disaster due to the longest drought since the 1950’s great TX drought.  Much of the agriculture business seen by BZ’s has been significantly slowed because of the drought and fires. BZ’s was looking for ways to cut overhead and keep a better hand on ways to increase margins as they work through these tough times .
