TCS Technologies extends its warmest congratulations to Boyd’s Tire and Service of Columbus, Ohio and Epperly Tire & Auto Centers in Columbus, Georgia, both WebPower™, tire dealer website, customers of TCS, for recently being recognized by Mighty Auto Parts for giving back to their communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.
Boyd’s Tire and Service was recognized with Mighty’s “Mightiest of the Mighty” award, one of only three given on the national level. Manager Mike Hoover leads several charitable efforts, with the assistance of the Boyd family. His primary cause is providing support to families with autistic children. Through Hoover’s organization, Make It Fit, funds are raised for autism research and support agencies in Ohio. The Make It Fit Foundation elicits the help of the community, hosting events such as races, power-lifting meets, car shows, and motorcycle rides.
Hoover and the Make It Fit Foundation credits their loyal supporters for their success in helping to “fit” the missing pieces together to hopefully one day find a cure for Autism.
David Epperly of Epperly Tire & Auto Centers was recognized for a community outreach program his shop calls “Changing Oil, Changing Lives”. Each month the program donates 100% of the proceeds from oil changes on a specific day to charity. Some of the charities that have benefited from this program are YoungLife, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ronald McDonald House, Toys For Tots, PAWS Humane, and Russell County Child Advocacy Center.
"TCS is an organization that appreciates all its customers, but when I have the pleasure of working with the caliber of people we see at Boyd’s and Epperly, it really means something extra to me" says TCS team member Kirsten Wilson, Marketing Consultant to both companies.
